Why are you running for this office?
I am running for office because it is time for a change. The incumbent has been in office for 30 years (longer than I’ve been alive) and during his tenure the city’s population has steadily declined, but our budget has nearly doubled. Homelessness has overtaken our city and the crime, especially in ward 12 (our jurisdiction) has hit a record high. None of these issues have been addressed. And the people of Ward 12 deserve an advocate and someone that will do more than occupy a seat on the council. |
