I'm running because our district deserves a strong advocate and a new voice at the State House. |

Our campaign is focused on fiscal responsibility, public safety, and accountability and transparency in state government. We're taking an inclusive, community-based approach to the issues. |

I bring a different perspective and approach to the issues facing our district. As a result of my work in the public policy field, I have a unique understanding of the many important problems affecting our region. Like many legislative seats in Massachusetts, this seat went unopposed for a decade and, prior to my candidacy, has not had a general election opponent from another major party since 1996. |

Yes, the incumbent is a Democrat and I am running as a Republican. At the moment, there are no primary challengers from either party. |

I'm a registered Republican and Chair of the Republican Town Committee in Westport, MA. |

In addition to other incumbency advantages, a considerable challenge is fundraising, as the incumbent has over $120,000 on hand and spent over $100,000 in the last election. |

We're actively listening to the diverse concerns of residents around the district and focusing heavily on grassroots campaigning to spread our message, which involves considerable canvassing, phone banking, and volunteer engagement. |

We have a growing campaign staff and team of supporters from diverse backgrounds and from both major political parties. While many on our team are people I've worked with on other campaigns in the past, some joined because of an ad they saw or from a post that a friend shared. |
