I want to fight for a better Illinois. I want to help my community. We need young new voices in the political arena that refuse to be involved in corruption. |

Yes. I am running as a Republican against a Republican incumbent. There is a democrat announced, but he’s old school (pro cop, socially conservative, union) democrat. In Illinois it’s unheard of to run as an independent in a state representative race. |

Affiliation: republican. But I refuse to take money from the Republican Party. I am not an establishment Republican, I am trying to bring in a new era in the Republican party. Rebrand, innovate the message, build a more broad coalition. |

Describe your biggest challenges at this point.
This is hard to answer. - we are doing well fundraising from grassroots donations. - our message is getting out. We knock doors, cold call, and advertise. It’s all challenging, but we love it. |

Josiah, the campaign manager is a life long friend. He’s 21, and owns rental properties. He is an awesome manager and works really hard. We have a plethora of campaign supporters and interns. Lots of young people. |

I have a few friends who are not involved. I am in a basketball league with many friends who are not in the campaign. My brother in law and his fiancé are in the area. My parents and in-laws are also in the area but not involved in the campaign. |
