Why are you running for this office?
The City Controller is the city's accountant and auditor and I am running because I am a CPA (accountant and auditor) with a bold vision to bring transparency and accountability to our tax dollars. I want to use my expertise as an auditor and a CPA to audit the city’s finances to determine departmental effectiveness and identify wasteful spending that can be reallocated to other critical areas to help our city. |

Why do you think you'll win?
Qualified for the job as the only CPA in the race which is literally the job of the City Controller. Over 800 volunteers. Raised over $600,000 including grassroots donations and city matching funds. Creative in outreach to voters using traditional methods of outreach such as door knocking, phone calls, mail, and also non-traditional methods - billboards, sign waving, dressing up in costumes, etc. Already doing the job of City Controller providing financial transparency, accountability, and resources/education to help the community. |

Jane Nguyen - Campaign Manager (organized together in 2018 for shelter for unhoused community in Koreatown) Sim Bilal - Youth Outreach - college student who is passionate about systemic change especially around the environment and engaging the youth Jacky Rodarte - Office Manager/Spanish Speaking Outreach - passionate about helping marginalized communities including those affected by local issues such as homelessness, housing, policing, the environment, and more. Kyler Chin - Head of Technology - joined our campaign because of a financial education/funny Tiktok video we did. He has been instrumental in creating our resource websites that have helped tens of thousands of Angelenos Vincent de Vera - Office Manager / super helper - always willing to help the campaign even though he lives far away in the Valley. Very reliable and is dedicated to social justice. |

My family and my wife. Even though I'm constantly busy running around campaigning, they support me and see the big picture of what I'm trying to do in this world. |
