Which office are you seeking? Please include the office's full title, including district number, and the state where you are running.

NYS Assembly, 113th District, New York

10

Why are you running for this office?

At age 6 I knew I wanted to be the President. I never gave up on that dream. Since then I received a degree in political science, interned under politicians, and now am running for office. Many people have recommended that I start smaller, however I believe starting at the state level is the best starting point to achieve my dreams. #2036 #doitfordewitt

I’ve also seen and lived through issues in my community and state that need to be addressed and aren’t. If elected I know I can be that push for change.

11

What issues are most important to you?

Education hands down. Being younger comparatively gives me a different perspective on the flaws that the education system holds. Kids are being taught to take a test, pass the test, and move on. Meanwhile life skills like financial literacy are being completely ignored, kids are dropping out, and they’re not prepared for life after graduation. Standardized testing needs to be eliminated, life skills courses need to be graduation requirements, and the basic setup/teaching styles of classrooms need to be revamped.

Living in Upstate NY, I have seen small business and small farmers suffer over the years. As a result I would like to propose a tax break for local businesses and schools that purchase locally produced goods (dairy, meat, vegetables, etc…). This would not only help farmers, but also local businesses, schools, and the overall local economy.

12

What makes you a unique candidate for this office?

First a foremost, my age. I could LITERALLY be the other candidates child! I’m the only new face in the race. I also am the only candidate that is focused on education and supporting local farmers.

13

Please list all important dates for your candidacy (caucuses, primary, general, filing window - anything that's pertinent)

First day for signing designating petitions- March 1st
Dates for filing designating petitions-
April 4-7
Primary- June 28th
General Election- November 8th

14

Is your election partisan? Please describe.

VERY! New York is a very stiff state with politics. Republicans and Democrats have it out for each other and in this race there is no exception. The drama between the two older candidates has already begun and been reported in local papers.

15

If you have an affiliation with a party, please describe.

I am a registered Republican (on the moderate side) and am running in the Republican primary.

16

Describe your biggest challenges at this point.

My age has certainly created a lot of doubt with my capabilities and knowledge. This led to me receiving no endorsements or guidance from committees and others who could help guide me along the process. I have been completely alone in this with the exception of a few people my age helping to gather signatures.

23

What is your occupation (if applicable)?
Restaurant worker/fashion model

24

Why do you think you'll win?

While going door to door collecting signatures I was surprisingly met by many people in complete support of someone my age running. People want new ideas, old people out, and new people in. I am also the only candidate focused on education which is incredibly important within my community.

25

Who is your campaign manager? (if applicable) Please list their name, phone, and email

N/A

26

Please describe your campaign staff and/or core supporters - who else is on the team? How are you connected to them? What is their role?

My team consists of about 5 people my age who truly believe I am capably of winning and making change. They are close friends or family and help offer ideas, support, and at the moment more importantly gathering signatures door to door.

27

Describe any other close friends in your world who may not be involved in the campaign.

I have many close friends who support me but detest politics and have lost hope in the system. It’s very sad to see but an eye opening realization of what’s going on within GenZ and something I strive to change.

28

What organizations, if any, are assisting you with your campaign?

N/A

29

If you have a clear opponent(s), please list their names and parties (if applicable). Please include likely candidates, even if they haven't yet declared.
