Why are you running for this office?
I am running for office because our community deserves to be represented by more public servants and less politicians. We need more young, diverse elected officials that want to do what is right for the people. I was diagnosed with stage IV cancer at age 28 years old and saw firsthand how broken our healthcare system is in this country. I am also an openly gay parent navigating the Florida school system during a time where Governor DeSantis has signed a dangerous law attacking families like mine. These harmful distractions are not what government should be focusing on. People need help. |

What issues are most important to you?
Expanding access to healthcare, supporting small and micro-businesses, addressing the housing crisis, and protecting our environment. |

I am the daughter of cuban exiles, a cancer survivor, small business owner, a wide and the mother to two daughters. When I win, I will be the first LGBTQ person elected to the Florida Legislature and the first Lesbian Latina in the Florida Legislature. |

Why do you think you'll win?
Not only is this a +10 Democrat leaning seat, but I am running an aggressive campaign, knocking on doors, fundraising, and meeting my community where they are at. I am an exciting candidate with deep roots in my community, as I was born and raised here. I can also bring in NPAs, Republicans, and people who do not normally vote. |
